MANGO TARTS




Mango, one of the most loved fruits in India and across the world. When it is mango season, everyone goes gaga about it!


We at Jar’ganic cannot resist it either! We prepare some fresh mango jam without any preservatives, 100% natural and with the real fruit. Handmade in small batches, every jar is bottled with pure mango, a little bit of sweetness and nothing else! We sweeten the jams with jaggery, making it healthier and tastier.


While most of them prefer just licking the jam off the jar, we also tried some exciting recipes which blew our tastebuds away!



Ingredients

  • 1 pack of digestive biscuits

  • 5 tbsp butter

  • 1 jar of Jar’ganic Mango jam

  • Optional – whipped cream, elaichi powder


Directions


  • Crush the digestive biscuits into powder. You can finely powder it by placing it in a blender.

  • Melt some butter and add it to the powdered biscuit mixture. Mix it well.

  • The consistency of this should be such that it can be bound together and it stays stiff. If it isn’t binding, add more butter to it.

  • Use a removable – base tart shell mould and place the biscuit crumb mixture evenly around the entire mould.

  • Place it inside the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

  • After you remove it from refrigeration, scoop some of the mango jam from the Jar’ganic jar and spread it onto the tarts. You can refrigerate it again for a few minutes to cool it and let it set.

  • Eat it with ice cream, add some whipped cream to it or some fresh mango pieces on top of it and enjoy your simple dessert.
