THUMBPRINT COOKIES




Buttery, chewy and thick thumbprint cookies with a surprise jam filling. That’s right! We can never have enough cookie recipes. From 8-year-old nieces to surgeon uncles, cookies are everyone’s favourite. These jam-filled cookies are simple to prepare and every cookie lover’s dream! Loaded with yummy fruity jam flavours, butter and vanilla these are perfect for family get together’s, holidays and birthdays. Why distribute boring machine made chocolates when you can bake your own scrumptious delights with love and laughter.





Ingredients


  • Unsalted Butter - ½ Kg

  • Sugar - 10 tablespoons

  • Vanilla extract - 3 tablespoons

  • Baking powder - 2tablespoons

  • Eggs - 2

  • Refined Flour - A bowl full

  • Jar'ganic jam - 2 small jars



Directions

  • In a bowl add sticks of butter and beat it until it is smooth.

  • Then add sugar and break the eggs onto the mixture.

  • Whip up the mixture to an even blend and add vanilla extract.

  • Add a pinch of baking powder and add the flour at the very end.

  • Knead the dough uniformly.

  • Preheat the oven at 180 C

  • Take a handful of dough and make them into softballs.

  • Place them on a plate and press the dough right in the middle with your thumb to create a hollow impression.

  • Fill the cookies with Jar'ganic jams and bake them in the oven.

  • Fun filled cookies are ready to be served!
